Upon assuming the role of lead designer in digital marketing at ViiV Healthcare, I undertook a transformative project to transition the department from reliance on external agencies to building an in-house design team. The challenge was amplified by the absence of easily accessible brand assets such as logos and fonts, which had been managed by external agencies. In response, I orchestrated the gathering and organization of essential assets for the five brands within the department, streamlining the design process and enhancing brand consistency.

I created folder systems and protocols for each brand, establishing a nomenclature for the SharePoint filing system. This organizational structure facilitated efficient access for designers and brand leads, simplifying the design workflow and reducing dependency on external resources. To ensure visual consistency and streamline the design process further, I developed foundation design systems for each of the five brands. These design systems served as a comprehensive guide, outlining standardized design elements and principles. Simultaneously, I created Adobe libraries that seamlessly integrated into all Adobe products, offering designers a centralized repository of brand assets and design components. The introduction of design systems extended to Adobe XD, where I created libraries and design systems for a cohesive user experience across various digital design projects. This not only promoted efficiency within the design team but also established a unified brand identity for ViiV Healthcare and its associated brands.
